Sakura Science Program Has Started 

Under the coordination of our department and the leadership of Dr. Melek Çelik, this program includes the participation of seven students: five from our department and two from the Department of Emergency Aid and Disaster Management. Aimed at promoting women's participation in science, this program provides our students with opportunities to engage in various courses and experiential activities, such as effective communication training and emergency disaster drills. Through this initiative, a new window to Japan has also opened for us.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Melek Çelik for her dedication in initiating and leading this project, and to Professor Hiroyo Sugimoto and the faculty of Tokyo City University for their warm hospitality in hosting our delegation.

東京シティ大学との協力による桜サイエンスプログラムが始まりました

本プログラムは、学科の調整およびメレキ・チェリッキ先生の指導の下で実施され、当学科から5名、救急救命・災害管理学科から2名の計7名の学生が参加しています。本プログラムは、女性の科学分野への参加を奨励することを目的としており、学生たちは効果的なコミュニケーションや災害時の緊急対応訓練など、多様な授業や体験プログラムに参加しています。この取り組みにより、私たちにとっても新たな日本への窓が開かれました。

本プログラムを企画し、実施に尽力されたメレキ・チェリッキ先生に心より感謝申し上げます。また、一行を温かく迎えてくださった杉本裕代教授をはじめ、東京都市大学の皆様に厚くお礼申し上げます。
