The career panel series "ÇOMÜ JLT Graduates Talk", organized by the Japanese Language Teaching Department was held for the 4th time, on 19th December 2023.

The career panel series, "ÇOMÜ Japanese Language Teaching Department Graduates Talk" was held for the 4th time on 19th December 2023. This panel series aims to broaden the vision of our students for the future by bringing together our students and alumni. Güneş Eroğlu '03 alumni and Ümmühan Günaydın '10 alumni participated in person, sharing their knowledge and experiences about the tourism industry and the profession of Professional Tourist Guiding.

Eroğlu and Günaydın provided instructive information about the conditions of the Professional Tourist Guiding profession and the qualifications expected for the profession. They emphasized that the tourism sector and professional guiding are continuous processes that require constant learning effort and self-improvement. They also highlighted the importance of utilizing the undergraduate period for gaining not only field-specific knowledge but also skills in intercultural communication and interpersonal relationships.

At the end of the talks, questions from the students were answered by the guests, and as a token of appreciation, plaques were presented to Güneş Eroğlu and Ümmühan Günaydın by the Department Chairmanship.
