Vice President Prof. Hideharu TAKAHASHI and Prof. Dr. Kenji SAKURAI from Akita Prefectural University (APU), Japan, visited our university as part of our academic collaboration and delivered a lecture on “The History of Japanese Literature.”
Vice President Prof. Hideharu TAKAHASHI and faculty member Prof. Dr. Kenji SAKURAI from Akita Prefectural University (APU), Japan, with whom our university maintains an active academic partnership, paid an official visit to our department.
As part of the visit program, the APU delegation first met with ÇOMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Arda AYDIN in his office. During this courtesy visit, discussions were held regarding existing collaborations and future projects between the two universities.
Following the meeting, Prof. Hideharu TAKAHASHI delivered a comprehensive seminar titled “The History of Japanese Literature” on February 26, 2026, at our Faculty Conference Hall, attended by our students and faculty members. This valuable presentation, which shed light on the deep-rooted history and milestones of Japanese literature, was followed with great interest by all participants.
