The national competition took place on Sunday, December 14, at the Turkish-Japanese Foundation Cultural Center, bringing together students and enthusiasts of Japanese language and culture from across the country. Representing our university and department in the intermediate-advanced category, our students Yunus Emre Acar, Vatan Gökay, Caner Şener, and Kadir Sütçü delivered outstanding performances.
Following a rigorous preliminary selection, two of our four finalists received prestigious honors:
Vatan Gökay was awarded Second Prize for his exceptional presentation.
Caner Şener received the Jury Special Award for his impressive performance.
As a department, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all four finalists for their hard work and successful representation of our institution. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our faculty members who dedicated their time outside of official hours to support our students throughout the preparation process.
We wish our students continued success in their future academic and linguistic endeavors.
